The GST council decided to make the Electronic Way Bill mandatory from April 1 this year. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that the Electronic Way Bill (E-Wibble), designed to prevent tax evasion in indirect taxation policy, would come into force across the country from April 1. The tax council of goods and services convened in Delhi on Saturday said that the issue has been approved. While the system have to come into effect from February 1, Council has postpone the execution decision due to technical resources (IT) hurdles ,announced on April 1 that it is ready for implementation.The Council reported that return filing file is going to more simplified. on the 26th meeting occasion the council announced currently available GSTR 3B is available for another 3 months. There is no consensus among the members to further simplify tax returns. This has been decided to continue with the existing policy. Jaitley said that the same policy will last for another 3 months.
