State Agriculture Minister Sri Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy met with representatives from the life insurance company headquarters in Mumbai on providing insurance to farmers in the state. In the official residence of Banjara Hills,Officers of the Department of Agriculture have also participated in this meeting. Speaking on the occasion Minister Pocharam said that the Chief Minister of the state at the Provincial Coordination Committee meeting in Karimnagar had Rs. 5 lakhs insurance. We will start this scheme from April this year. Every farmer suggested to make guidelines for insurance coverage. Unfortunately, the farmer dies after the death of a total sum of Rs.5lakhs.

The family does not have financial difficulties with 5 lakhs. It will be warranted. All views and suggestions will be taken into consideration. The report was presented to the Chief Minister and revealed that the final decision would be taken on their opinion.
The meeting was attended by Agriculture Secretary C Parthasarathy, Commissioner Jagan Mohan, Director of the School of L Venkatrami Reddy, LIC officer PVS Nagaraja Rao, officials from Ramakrishnan, Jagannatham and other officials took part.
