16 eggs are given every month for pregnant women in the Anganwadi Center. Every 7 to three years children are given 8 boiled eggs in every Tuesday and Friday. Children aged 3 to six will given four days a week boiled eggs. But the eggs supplied to the centers are very small. Claims that the funds in the name of the supply of eggs are gemalal. Even the officials disregard the criticisms that the contractor is supplying them as he likes. Eggs supplied to Anganwadi centers are very small. Egg weight is usually 50 to 55 grams.

But the supply of these centers has not exceeded from 35 grams to 40 grams. There are allegations that the quality of eggs is not supplied despite the cost of crores of rupees for the eggs offered to children. There are 17 ICDS projects in Gila. These include 2987 Anganwadi and 742 Mini Anganwadi centers. There were 85,331 children in the age group of three years, 47,074 children in 3 to 6, pregnant 22,457 and 21,638 children. 21,41,352 eggs are supplied to 1,76,500 beneficiaries per month. There are 6,82,648 eggs for children under three years, 7,53,184 for 3 to 6 years, 7,05,520 eggs for pregnant women and children. It costs Rs 1,07,06,760 per month.
