JDS leader Kumaraswamy alleged that Karnataka Governor misused his authority.Speaking at a media briefing on Thursday, he said, "How does the governor invite the BJP to form the government without the majority?".He said BJP is trying to buy our MLAs. they are threatening the MLAs, I know that.Congress MLA Anand Singh told me that the central government is provoking him.He said that he has a case against him. He said he would be frightening. He said that our immediate task was to save all of our MLAs. Kumaraswamy called upon the opposition parties to come together and conserve democracy. The BJP is destroying democracy, calling on all regional parties to come together to defend the interests of the country. He wants his father Deve Gowda to consult with all regional parties. TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and TRS leader KCR appealed to them to cooperate with the JDS leader Kumaraswamy. He said that the time has come for all the regional parties to fight unity against the center and come together for their fight. Recently, KCR has gone to Bangalore and talks about the Third Front with Kumaraswamy and Devegowda. Kumaraswamy requested KCR to support them now for deciding to fight against the BJP. . Kumaraswamy also feels that the pressure on the center should also be raised in the wake of Chandrababu's split with the BJP.

On the other hand, Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot, Ghulam Nabi Azad, former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and several other MLAs pictured the statue at Mahatma Gandhi's statue in Vidhana Soudha on Thursday. JDS leaders also participated in the protests in the procession.
