Stock markets ended with losses. The Sensex, which opened with good gains in the morning, ended with a slight , but the Nifty had suffered with losses. From the beginning, the indexes continued with slight gain and losses. At the end of the trading session, the Sensex had gained 16.06 points at 35,176.4, while Nifty closed at 10718 points at 21.40 points.

Kotak Mahindra, Amaraja Battery, Castrol India, Godrej India, ITC, Asian Paints, HDFC, Zee Entertainment and other stocks. Satyam, Hindustan Zinc, Vedanta, HCL Tech, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Idea Cellular and other companies suffered losses.
