The state government has decided to develop national highways development in the state and request it to cooperate. Minister of Road Transport and Building, Thummala Nageswara Rao said: "The government has agreed to construct a 161 km highway at Sangarpet, Narsapur, Bhuvanagiri, Gajwela and Choutuppal. Minister Tummala and MP Jitendra Reddy met Union Minister of Transport Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday for development of highways in the state. The minister said that the 205 km road between Choutuppal, Shahnagar and Kandi would be allowed to give permission to the national highway. This project is not only the city of Hyderabad but also a niche road in the country.

The project connects all national highways in the country. CM KCR has met with the Union Minister for the construction of the project. DPR has already been handed over for this project, he said. Mahabubnagar and Jadcherla are currently on the two lines of the National Highway and wanting to convert it into a four-lane road. The Minister has responded positively. Earlier, the state government wanted to examine the DPRs for roads. We are going to give Rs 1,000 crore for the release of CRF fund.
