The new government has given a fresh shock to the people of Andhrapradesh who have been disappointed with the special status. The Special Railway Zone, which has assured in AP reorganization act, has also been announced. Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gaba, who met with Telugu state officials on Monday, said it was clear. He said the reports and surveys were not in favor of the Railway Zone and that the Railway Board was also opposed to it. He also discussed issues of Andhrapradesh division, issues of Schedule 13, establishment of Central and Educational Institutions in AP and Telangana. Responding to a question raised by the Andhrapradesh Bhavan Resident Commissioner Praveen Prakash on the railway junction, he said it was not possible in the backdrop of reports against the railway zone. However, the BJP leaders have recently announced that the Central will implement all the guarantees except for special status, and Railway Zone announcement will also be coming soon in Visakhapatnam. In this background, the concerns will be more intense as the AP Railway Zone is not possible.
