In the backdrop of the riots between Buddhist and Muslims in the Candy district, the government has made an extraordinary decision to emergency earmark the country for ten days. There have been conflicts between these two communities for the whole year. The Buddhist religions allege that local Muslims are seeking religious conversion. They were also accused of destroying the ancient religions of the Buddhists. Buddhists also expressed concern over the growing number of refugees in Srilanka. According to the government spokesperson,Dayasiri Jayasekara, the decision was taken at a special Cabinet meeting to impose a ten-day emergency for violence. It is clear that by means of social media, they are preparing for hard work on those who inspire this violence. A Muslim shop in Candy began to joke with some people on Tuesday. The government has sent heavier security forces there. There is already curfew. In Sri Lanka, Majority is Buddhist. Muslims are minorities. On the other hand, the BCCI is concerned about the security of the Indian cricket team on Sri Lanka's tour.
