TELUGU STATES ARE TOP IN SOLAR CONSUMPTION

Hyderabad, April 14, (way2newstv.com):
KPMG director Uday Kiran said the Telugu state is topped in efforts to boost re-utilization (RTE) capabilities in the country. In a two-day presentation in the name of Renyueks, South India's share of the total power generation in the country is 30 percent, of which solar and wind power account is 50 per cent. Telangana is the second largest city in solar power production, he said. One of the largest solar power plants in the world is Kurnool in AP and its capacity is a thousand megawatt. He said the state is preferred because of the possibility of solar power being provided by the environment and the low cost of electricity. The two state governments have also announced several promotions and raids to attract investors in the sector. He said the share of renewable energy (RP) in Indian power production has increased significantly in the past four years, with 20 per cent of the installed capacity of the country currently in the country over the past four years, he said, adding that 40 per cent of power generation in the country would be achieved by 2030. By 2022, the share of the total power generation will rise to 30 per cent, and if it goes ahead, it will be able to reach the target before the Paris regime. If our solar power generation capacity is a gigawatt in 2010, we expect a 20 gig increase to 2017-18, "he said. Kiran added that various states have been attracted by the decline in the prices of the products due to the rise in production.

Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Chairman and MD Randi Ramesh said that 30 percent of the state's share of total power generation in the country is being promoted to rooftop solar projects. In the four years of Telangana, the 3336 MW solar power was added to the grid and another 473 MW would be added by 2018, he said. By 2022, he said that they are working on a target of five thousand MW in the state. The share of roof top solar projects in total solar power is currently 33 megawatt and another 48 MW projects, "he said. Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission chairman Ismail Ali Khan said that the lack of access to solar power is a major obstacle to the expansion of solar power. He said that the lack of sunlight during the night and clouds during the night, and the falling of solar power in the rainy season was also a major hurdle. At such times, we need support from traditional projects, "he said. "The difference in the traditional power supply is five per cent," he said, adding that the risk of grid failure would be to reduce the difference. If the state of the solar power in the state at 17 rupees per unit is now reduced to 4 to 7 rupees, it will be reduced to Rs 1.70.
