IPL is the most expensive tournament in the world of cricket and everything is ready for the eleventh season of IPL. The tournament, which will be attended by iconic cricketers around the world, will begin on April 7.Beginning celebrations for every IPL tournament is became as tradition so BCCI decided to celebrate these on 6th March and announced the schedule for this already. But these celebrations were postponed to the next day. The opening of the tournament will also be held on the same day of match. The decision was taken by the BCCI on the orders of the Committee of Administrators (COA) set up by the Supreme Court.
EVERYTHING IS READY FOR IPL
The board had decided to celebrate the opening ceremony at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) stadium in Mumbai has changed to Wankhede stadium. And the budget limited to Rs 30 crore has decided after the decision the COA. The IPL governing council approved the initial cost of Rs 50 crore for the opening ceremony. Due to COA orders the amount has set to Rs 30 Crore. The first match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings is to be held at Wankhede for the eleventh season of IPL. The final match will be held on May 27 in Wankhede.
