Markets are in loss. At the end of the day, the Sensex was down 35 per cent. At the close of the BSE benchmark Sensex closed 216 points lower at 34,949 while the Nifty closed at 55.35 (0.52%) at 10,633. Bharti Airtel (1.08 percent), Infy (0.72 percent), TCS (0.54 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp (0.45 percent) were the other major gainers, followed by ICICI Bank (2.87 percent) SBI (2.70 per cent), IndusInd Bank (1.80 percent), Yes Bank (1.78 percent), Kotak Bank (1.63 percent) and Asian Paints (1.49 percent) were among the most losers.
