State Election Commission Commissioner Nagi Reddy said the plans should be made to make the elections as transparent.Speaking at the State Election Commission meeting with collectors, SPs and panchayat officials, he said that the panchayat elections should be completed by July this year. Election Commission officials have reviewed collectors, SPs and panchayat officials for the forthcoming panchayat elections in the state. The meeting was attended by state general secretary SK Joshi, DGP Mahender Reddy, senior officials.State Election Commission Commissioner Nagireddy said the Police Department should take steps to prevent any difficulties and take action from other states if necessary.

The final lists of voters already prepared and the printing equipment is ready by June 15. Collectors should recognize and appoint the Returning Officers.
