The RTC has prepared plans for the celebration of Mahashivratri. In order to generate revenue of Rs.3.50 crores in four days, the sector is ready to run buses for 13 destinations in the district. 393 special buses were operated till 14th. These special buses will be charged 50 per cent on passenger ticket. Srisailam Mahakshatram is the main center of Dwatia Jyotirlinga. Devotees come from all over the state, not only from the district, but also in the belief that if you visit Mallikarjundu and Bhramaramba Devi in ​​the days of Maha Sagar.

The RTC has been prepared to run 106 special buses from Kurnool to avoid the difficulties of pilgrims going to Srisailam. Officials are taking actions to go from Kartan RTC bus stand to Srisailam every bus every 10 minutes. Special buses are conducted on 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th on the 6th day of the Brahmotsavam festival starting from the 6th of this month. The RTC takes steps to run special buses to celebrate Maha Shivaratri celebrations for Srisailam and 12 other Shivshasthya pilgrims. RTC officials are taking steps to run fitness buses when the Kurnool-Srisailam road is ghat. Ghat was chosen for 193 buses in the Kurnool region of Elizabeth Fitness. The remaining buses were taken from Nellore to 60, Tirupati 40 and Ananthapurapuram 100 Ghat Eligibility. Vehicle maintenance camps have been set up in Srisailam and Dornas to repair the buses while repairs. Shivaratri festivals from both the three and three years are also raining for the RTC. In 2016, 329 special buses have generated revenue of Rs.2.84 crores to 6.90 lakh km. In 2017, 372 Prakash buses have earned revenue of Rs. 311.16 crores to 7.30 lakh km. This year, the RTC officials have set up plans to achieve Rs.3.50 crore revenue.
