The central government has given the green signal to upgrade modernization with the Rs 25 crore to the Guntakal railway station.Railways have expressed happiness over this station. All the six railway stations in the South Central Railway have been granted international status to Guntakal and Kurnool stations in Rayalaseema. At present, constructing works of the model station is with Rs.6 crore at the Guntakal Station.

Railways said that the reports have been sent to the Government to make changes in these works and submit to the government. The designs sent by the Railway authorities did not make the airports unmoved. Model station building is being built south. The campus has a space of about 2 acres. It has been sent to the board of intentional specimens with the intention of establishing parks, pontoons, and other beautiful artifacts. At the station, the gates of the Guntakal are changing with the escalators, WiFi facility and modern electrical display.
