The mobile and internet services were discontinued in various parts of the country as Dalit groups protested against the changes in the SC and the Steel Attitudes Act. On the occasion of the bandh, the Government canceled the transportation of bus services in the state of Punjab.business shops and educational institutions are closed in the Jalandhar Amritsar in Punjab province and Forbesganj region of Bihar.In Bihar, the protesters stopped traveling services of trains.
