Telangana government seems to be issue the Panchayat elections notification on June 6 and the proposal is expected to be completed by June 23.The government is getting ready to conduct panchayat elections before the prescribed deadline. The tenure of the current ruling classes will end at the end of July. The government hopes to conduct polls more than five weeks ago and train the ruling classes. On August 1, new governing bodies will be able to train. In this regard, the Panchayati Raj department officials who met the State Election Commission on Monday informed the Election Day proposals. According to the new Panchayati Raj Act of the Telangana government in the past month, the process of counting of polling and votes on the 12th day, including the date of election announcement.

In the new law, including the maximum number of days, such as the adoption, observation and withdrawal of nominations, are to be completed. Telangana currently has 12,751 panchayats and 1,13,380 wards combined with newly formed components. Excluding about fifteen panchayats in the tenure of the ruling classes, elections must be held for the rest. As the panchayats are in large numbers, polling will be done in three phases. The government proposes to end this process by June 23. The final list of panchayats and wards will be issued on May 17. Subsequent reservation will be finalized. 50% of women will be allocated for general category seats after SC, ST and BSc reservation.
