THE GROWING HOPE IN THE HARVEST HAVING FALLEN...

Rajanna sircilla, February 24, (way2newstv.com):
The government is supplying 24 hours power to farmers. Telangana farmers are benefiting from this. From time to time, farmers are supplying water to farm fields. However, the condition in Karimnagar district is different. In many areas crops are drying out. This led to a local farmer's worry. Many of the farmers have fallen victims because of the lack of water resources. It is said that the lack of access to electricity has become a problem. This year also expressed concern that financial problems are unavoidable. Thousands of acres of paddy, maize and other six crops grow dry throughout the joint district. Last year, farmers earned yields as expected in Yasangi. All of these felt that the drought was a bit of a problem. But these hopes have not survived. The next harvest has begin. Farmers say they are filling the ponds in Jagathala and Rajanna sircilla districts by filling up the Gangadhara and Narayanpur reservoirs and not taking action on the issue.

On the other side, the Dharmaram mandal Nandi medaram pond was demolished and started repair work again. The reason for this is that the locals say that despite the plenty of water in the project, the farmers have not been able to feed crops. Paddy cultivation is cultivated in nearly 40,000 hectares in Gangadhara, Ramadugu, Choppadandi, Boyapalli, Malyala, Kodimyala and Vemulawada districts on the basis of Yellampalli waters. About 30% of the crop is dried up due to lack of water. Farmers are worried that about 60 per cent of the crops will be dry in the next two months. The farmers are losing thousands of crores of rupees as the crop is drying up. Many bore wells are hoping to save crops anymore .. farm wells are deeply damaged by depth. The farmers want the government and the concerned authorities to take care of the water shortage of the common Karimnagar district. If water availability is not available, they will be forced to lend their debt and get into a situation where families can not afford.
