Global tenders have been called for the Power House project to build a polar power project. At present, there is a major hill-mine excavation work. Within 36 months of the first unit, the remaining units were designed to complete the project within 58 months, linking each unit to the grid within 2 months. Water Supply Center at Devipatnam Mandal, Angular as part of the Polavaram project is being each week reviewed by the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Water Resources Minister . Soil works are done as part of Polavaram Headworks. Inagalur village was evacuated and 1.18 lakh cubic meters of soil and 307 acres were undertaken in the hill.

The power plant is included in the dam package. The hill was dug up to 154 meters above the ground level and from there to reach another eight meters. Genco has 12 tunnels with nine meters radius. Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage is constructed at 42 kilometers above Dhavaleswaram. Construction is underway to make the waste water consumption and the lowest cost of electricity. Soon after the dredging works, the power plant is getting ready to undertake civil base work. A total of one million eight million cubic meters of soil is required to be built on power house construction. It has already dug up 85 lakh cubic meters. Approximately 72 percent work has been done. VVS Murthy said, "Power Block, Accord Channel and Tail Race Channel are in the process of being done fast," Polavaram Power Project AP Genco Executive Engineer said. This power plant is poured out into the Polavaram project and the Godavari river (after the cotton barrage) after the power generation. This will bring water to the cotton barrage from the power plant, not just from the Polavaram project spillway. When the project is completed, the new AP will have the lowest cost of electricity and the industries will also be available to the industry.
