The government has set up a 2018 IT policy to look after the public and private companies, without any damage to online transactions. The government has stated that this new policy has been introduced to target cyber crimes in increasing Internet usage. All branches of the Secretariat have been issued to this extent. The Policy has announced a number of steps in this Policy in accordance with the National Cyber Security Policy introduced by the Center in 2013. The policy was introduced in the wake of the government will soon introduce fiber network in the state through the E-Pragathi project. Without prejudice to cyber criminals, the IT Policy has taken many precautions. The cyber security hub will be set up in the state. Chief Information Security Officer will be appointed in each institution.

A special section is also being set up in the police department to investigate cyber crimes. The department will be trained in the cyber security for three weeks for sub-inspector and then level officers. Cyber forensic labs, including cyber police stations, have been set up in all major cities in the state. Police officers are taking steps to participate in international seminars on cyber security. IT Professionals in Public and Private Sector will provide special training for professional development. Private technology specialists will be assisted if needed to deal with complicated cases and in case of organized crime. Over the next five years, 20,000 people across the state have been set up to make cyber security professions. Cyber Security Skills in School, College and University are to increase awareness on cyber security from student phase. The government has decided to review IT policy every six months in keeping with the changing technology.
