E - WAY BILL FROM APRIL 15

Karnataka is the only state in the country to issue an e-way bill from April 1 for transportation of goods within the State. Last month, the GST council decided to take effect from April 15 to phase out the transport of goods between the states and the stake of goods within the state. This is a counter-act of defending the current trade deficit, which is described as an increase in tax collection. The e-bill, which is the provision of goods and services tax, was first introduced on February 1. The implementation of permits has been temporarily frozen after technical problems arise. Such a problem has arisen when many states have generated bills in the port for the transportation of goods inside the state. Since then, the platform has been strengthened and made up to 75 lakh inter-state e-bills.
