The national highways are 6,401 km while the state highways are 14,722 km and the major district roads are 32,280 km. The Chief Minister said budget allocations for rural roads from 2014 to Rs. 2,748.21 crore, total cost of Rs. 2,103.34 crore. The expenditure incurred in 2014-15 is Rs. 459.17 crore and Rs. 425.97 crore, in 2016-17 572.11 crores and Rs. 646.09 crores. Rs. 948 crore allocations.
